They are very people friendly and love to lay, sit, and sleep on people. They both respond to their names and usually come to you when you call them. They play with each other and groom each other frequently. Both cats are up to date on their vaccinations and are fixed as well. Op (pink collar) is very cuddly and enjoys laying on people's chests and laps. She loves to be pet and have her belly rubbed. She has a longer coat than her sister Oz which makes her very soft to pet. She loves to play with bottle caps and chase them around the house. Oz (Orange stripe on face) is much more independent than her sister. Although she is very friendly with people, she likes to do her own thing as well. She will come to you when she wants to be affectionate or be pet. She loves playing with cat teasers that have feathers.

description: Maddie chose her family. She went to this nice man's front porch and his heart melted immediately for those warm brown eyes and wagging tail. So when he discovered she was a pregnant stray, he was determined to keep her and one of the pups (finding good homes for the rest). For six years, Maddie and her son, Mr. B, lived happily with this nice man as a family. The nice man loved them and dotted on them. He made a baby book of sorts for all their vaccination records and even to save some of Mr. B's baby teeth. But a few months ago, this nice man faced what too many people have had to face in recent years. He lost his job and his home went into foreclosure. Maddie and Mr. B are the most important priorities to this nice man. Allow he can no longer live in his home because the water was shut off, he is keeping the dogs safe at the home visiting them once a day as he looks for work and stays with a friend. He vowed he would never take them to a shelter or split them up, so he is turning to rescues to help him. Mr. B is a big mama's boy. He loves the comfort of Maddie's presence. Maddie is outgoing and loves to greet new people. Both dogs will dance on their hind legs and wag their tails and tremor with excitement whenever their daddy is around. They warm up quickly to new people. Mr. B prefers gentle scratches under the chin and soft whispers. He has the face of a puppy still, and once you have given him a few minutes of your time, he often stares up at you with big, brown eyes and lays a paw on your leg. Maddie is a delight on four legs. She is happy and loves to explore. Both dogs like the company of other dogs big and small. They show no aggression towards cats. Now this nice man has ONE month to find his babies a home together before the bank locks him out. He is heartbroken that the family is being split up, but he would be so thankful to know that Maddie and Mr. B will get to start a new adventure together with another family. I am very polite, so you don't have to worry about me being destructive to my things or yours. I love food, so training me comes with ease! I am up to date on all my vaccines and a healthy girl who has the energy and temperment to match. Unfortunately, I encountered a small bump in the road when I was diagnosed with a very low level kidney disease. With the help of my friends at I Dig My Dog, it was corrected by introducing a low protein and low phosphorous diet. I have been cleared of any kidney issues but will need to stay on my special diet as a preventative measure. I really want a forever family and a place to call home.
